Governance

SOFGREF relies on an institutional governance structure designed to ensure scientific integrity, independence and coherence across all activities.

The society’s governance is organized around distinct bodies with complementary roles, in accordance with ethical, academic and scientific principles.


Executive Board

The Executive Board is responsible for the institutional and administrative leadership of SOFGREF.
Its responsibilities include:

  • representing the society,
  • coordinating activities,
  • ensuring compliance with the statutory and institutional framework.

Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee is an independent body responsible for guiding and ensuring the scientific coherence of SOFGREF’s activities.

It contributes in particular to:

  • defining scientific orientations,
  • validating educational frameworks and formats,
  • supporting working groups and scientific initiatives.

Operating principles

SOFGREF’s governance is based on the following principles:

  • scientific independence,
  • institutional transparency,
  • absence of commercial promotion,
  • respect for ethical and academic standards.

SOFGREF does not issue prescriptive clinical recommendations and does not exercise any regulatory authority.
