{"id":90,"date":"2026-01-25T20:21:02","date_gmt":"2026-01-25T20:21:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sofgref.org\/?page_id=90"},"modified":"2026-01-25T20:21:02","modified_gmt":"2026-01-25T20:21:02","slug":"governance","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sofgref.org\/index.php\/en\/governance\/","title":{"rendered":"Governance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SOFGREF relies on an institutional governance structure designed to ensure scientific integrity, independence and coherence across all activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The society\u2019s governance is organized around distinct bodies with complementary roles, in accordance with ethical, academic and scientific principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Executive Board<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Executive Board is responsible for the institutional and administrative leadership of SOFGREF.<br>Its responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>representing the society,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>coordinating activities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensuring compliance with the statutory and institutional framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>President<\/strong><br>Dr Hichem Bensmail<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Secretary<\/strong><br>Dr Albert Ohayon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scientific Committee<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Scientific Committee is an independent body responsible for guiding and ensuring the scientific coherence of SOFGREF\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It contributes in particular to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>defining scientific orientations,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>validating educational frameworks and formats,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>supporting working groups and scientific initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>(The detailed composition of the Scientific Committee is presented on the dedicated page.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Operating principles<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SOFGREF\u2019s governance is based on the following principles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>scientific independence,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>institutional transparency,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>absence of commercial promotion,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>respect for ethical and academic standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SOFGREF does not issue prescriptive clinical recommendations and does not exercise any regulatory authority.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOFGREF relies on an institutional governance structure designed to ensure scientific integrity, independence and coherence across all activities.
